WSDCA has a class they call the sportsman class. This class was created for the purpose of bringing more cars to the Nationals and Regionals that for what ever reason do not come now. Things like they don’t think their car or their motor or even their driving ability would let them be competitive with the newer motors and more experienced drivers. This class would run under WSDCA rules for safety and motor displacement (1250cc or less) and cars have to pass the WSDCA tech before and after a race.

For example if you have an older car with an old motor, or an older car with a newer motor, or new car with an old motor, or you don’t have much driving time, come try this class. If you are running in a street tire class at home, come on down with your street tires and have some fun and meet some new people.

The big difference is there will be an entry fee of $100.00 but no pay out. Drivers would have to buy pit passes and race for trophies (top 3). If you think you fit in this class fill out an entry form and send it in, we need a minimum of 10 cars to run this class.

Warning to the wise NO RINGERS or SAND BAGGERS, this is for racers that just want to have FUN racing with no pressure. It is not for the guy that just wants to be cheap and shows up with his or her brand new car with an injected motor. You know if you belong in this class and believe me if you don’t, it will show.
